However, they aren't maintenance free! The blocks are quite porous and the sand-filled

joints can be a breeding ground for weeds and general dirt and muck.

Application of Smartseal Moss Clear and/or weedkiller to tackle growths, if required
Professional pressure cleaning
Leave until the surface and joints are totally dry
Sweeping in new kiln-dried sand to joints
Sealing with 2 coats of Smartseal Monoblock Paving Sealer
